Tecnológico de Costa Rica (TEC)
The Tecnológico de Costa Rica is a public university funded on the 10th of June 1971 through the law No.4777. It became the first higher education institution for science and technology of the country; aimed at the modernization and improvement of the national productive sector as well as at the transfer of technology for the transformation of the Costa Rican society. Similarly, our university also develops connection and outreach activity that looks to create an economic, social and environmental impact in diverse areas of the country.
We have a Central Campus located 22 kilometers southwest from the Capital and four regional branches in San Carlos, San José, Limón and Alajuela.
